Excellent news in Oxford, Mississippi, as Baptist Hospital NMS CEO and Administrator Bill Henning announced that for the first time since March 18, 2020, the facility reported zero active COVID patients.

Are Kids Today Less Resilient than their Parents?

A quick glance at headlines on any given day lends credence to the belief that children today are less resilient than previous generations. The headlines tell stories of kids who are bullied to the point of suicide, smoking and drinking whatever they can get their hands on, and behaving in all sorts of unbecoming ways. The more notorious headlines reflect the hatred and disillusion these kids have toward society, so much so that they choose the path of mass murder.

Doctors and Patients Blame Each Other for Long Waits

In what seems to be lately a war of attitudes, you can be a doctor/nurse or you can be a patient - both literally and figuratively. Let me explain: wait times are getting to be pretty long these days and patients are understandably irked about this. They take to the Internet and lash out at whatever facility made them wait more often than not placing the blame for the wait time squarely on the shoulders of doctors and/or nurses.
